Sapphire McIntosh​ is a comedian, actor and writer that uses comedy as a vessel to teach people about tough or challenging social issues. Her recent journalist work has documented the groups who are attempting to re-brand the far right in the U.K .
This year she's made two films, one of the Hollywood-ification of Tommy Robinson and another on the growth of new far - right group - The Democratic Football Lads Alliance. She also uses her quick wit that puts members of the public in uncomfortable situations to find out what they're really thinking.​
The grant would be used for Saph to research and develop a new show about creating independent queer families.
