Stuart Crewes

Artist, activist and creative producer with experience of delivering programmes of vibrant cultural events, Stuart is a solution-focused problem-solver who is happy to be hands-on. From the blue-sky visualizing to hanging work on the walls and pouring drinks for invited guests, he's usually in the thick of it with a smile.

A passionate community-engagement activist and champion for inclusion, he works with local charities and community groups to shape and deliver activity that has people, their lives and culture at it’s heart. Most of his work is in using the workshop format across media to help people explore their potential, this might be investigating language with people with Aphasia, exploring group dynamics with people with learning disabilities or capturing the imaginations of school kids around the built development of their city. Currently supporting a social action group to launch an imprint for publishing stories, thoughts, artwork and creative responses to the changing social and physical landscape of Exeter.
